We’re looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual who enjoys working with documents, spreadsheets, and data. If you take pride in accuracy, staying organized, and keeping information up to date, this could be a great fit for you.

About Us
Since 1919, Andy J. Egan Co. has been the mechanical contractor that West Michigan construction managers and building owners depend on for the highest quality work. We are dedicated to hiring individuals who understand the importance of safety, demonstrate integrity in all aspects of their lives, are passionate about what they do, and are committed to providing value to our customers.
We're also proud to be recognized among the nation's and West Michigan's Best and Brightest Companies to Work For, earning multiple Elite and "Best of the Best" honors for our workplace culture and employee experience.

The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide data entry and administrative support within our Fabrication Department.  You’ll provide administrative support to our Quality team, assisting with QA/QC documentation, records, and tracking information.
A large part of this role will involve working with documents and records, entering information into Excel spreadsheets, and ensuring files are accurately saved, named, and organized.  Your work will help ensure important quality records are complete, accurate, organized, and easy for the team to access.

What You’ll Do
  • Enter information from documents and records into Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and tracking logs.
  • Scan, save, name, and organize electronic files and documents.
  • Maintain accurate and organized electronic folders and records.
  • Review data entries and documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure files follow consistent naming and organizational standards.
  • Locate, compile, and organize documentation as needed.
  • Assist with QA/QC documentation, recordkeeping, and tracking for the Quality team.
  • Assist with filing, scanning, document organization, and other data entry needs as they arise
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is organized, dependable, and comfortable working with a high volume of information. This position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy while performing data entry and document-related tasks.
You should be comfortable using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 and have a basic understanding of electronic file management, including scanning, saving, naming, and organizing documents.
Experience with data entry, document management, QA/QC documentation, construction, fabrication, or administrative support is helpful. Knowledge of PVF (pipe, valves, and fittings) is a plus, as you’ll work with documents and information related to materials used in our fabrication operations.
Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who takes pride in getting the details right, stays organized, and is willing to learn.

Why You’ll Love This Role
You’ll be part of a team that depends on accurate information and well-organized documentation to keep work moving. Your work will also support the Quality team by helping ensure QA/QC records and documentation are maintained accurately and consistently. If you enjoy working with data, spreadsheets, and documents and find satisfaction in keeping information organized, this role offers an opportunity to put those strengths to work every day.
