We are looking for a Warehouse Associate to work in our Grand Rapids fabrication warehouses to help support our fabricators with materials, data tracking and overall Warehouse organization. Duties:

  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming pipe, fittings, and materials.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure yard materials are organized and properly identified.
  • Process purchase order receipts and update inventory management systems.
  • Verify and manage Material Test Report (MTR) documentation to maintain material traceability.
  • Support fabrication shop operations by assisting with preventative maintenance and equipment upkeep.
  • Prepare and stage fittings and materials for fabrication projects, including heat number tracking and documentation.
  • Track outstanding purchase orders and follow up on backordered items.
  • Operate a SkyTrak forklift to transport and position pipe for HGG cutting and fabrication processes.
  • Manage excess and leftover materials by properly tagging, documenting, and returning them to inventory or designated storage locations.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in a pipe yard, fabrication shop, warehouse, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
  • Experience operating forklifts, telehandlers (SkyTrak), or other heavy equipment.
  • Knowledge of industrial fabrication, welding, or pipe-processing operations.
  • Comfortable learning and utilizing industry-specific operational or inventory management applications.

Requirements:

  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills to support yard, procurement, and fabrication personnel.
Schedule:
  • Monday – Friday, Full-Time
  • Typical hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm
  • Headquarters: Grand Rapids, MI (In-Person Role)
