We are looking for a Quality Assurance & Control Support Specialist to work with the Quality Control Manager (QCM) and our fabrication department. We are looking for a Quality Assurance & Control Support Specialist to work with the Quality Control Manager (QCM) and our fabrication department. Duties:
- Provide administrative support to the QCM, including document tracking, logging, and material traceability
- Record and verify heat numbers to ensure complete material traceability
- Maintain organized Quality Control documentation and inspection records
- Prepare and compile Quality Assurance packages for customer and project submittals
- Support shop-floor quality standards in coordination with the QCM
- Assist with continuous improvement of Quality Control processes and procedures
- Support internal and external audits as needed
- Provide daily support to the QCM to ensure efficient execution of QA/QC processes
- Working knowledge of mechanical, process piping, HVAC, and plumbing systems
- Understanding of welding processes and fabrication quality requirements preferred
- Highly proficient in Excel, including data entry, validation, and basic reporting
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new quality systems, databases, and digital workflows
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 for QA/QC documentation and tracking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for coordination with quality, fabrication, and project teams
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast‑paced, production‑driven environment
- 2+ years of QA-QC experience preferred
